Alexandra Vertinskaya

Alexandra Vertinskaya was born in Moscow in 1969. In 1987 she graduated from the specialist art school attached to the Surikov Institute in Moscow. In 1992 she graduated from Tair Salakhov’s studio at the Surikov Institute. From 1992 to 1994 she had a scholarship to the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. She is a member of the Union of Artists and in 2008 was made a correspondent-member of the Russian Academy of Arts. She lives and works in Moscow.
