Tanatos Banionis

Tanatos Banionis is a group of Russian artists who began working together in 2008 when commissioned by Triumph Gallery to make a work for Art Moscow. The resulting video installation, "Pieta", was one of the most watched video works at the art fair due to its innovative HD video presented in a finely crafted 'altar' of silver, titanium and rubber. The artists wish to remain anonymous.
